Chua Han Chong (蔡汉宗)

I am a PhD student at MMLab@NTU (affiliated with S-Lab), College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I am advised by Professor Chen Change Loy and supported by the NTU Research Scholarship. I hold a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from CCDS, NTU; and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

My current research is on embodied AI with spatial intelligence: perceiving, representing, and reasoning about 3D space well enough to act in it. I build this through real-to-sim-to-real transfer and keep it adapting to new environments through continual learning.

Before my PhD, I spent nine years in industry building and deploying production AI systems, spanning computer vision modelling, foundation model adaptation, and ML operations.
